As President of the Wends/Sorb Society, I am pleased to announce the release of our long-awaited book, The Wends in South Australia – Their Heritage Trail. This publication is the result of many years of dedicated work by our society members, and it has now reached its successful conclusion. I am proud of what we have achieved, and I extend sincere thanks to all who participated. This book is a must-have for any heritage library.

Published by the Wend/Sorb Society of South Australia, this book contains a wealth of information about the 6 Wendish settlement sites (Hope Valley, Rosedale, Ebenezer, Neukirch, St Kitts and Peters Hill).
But wait - there's more: a detailed discussion of the history of the Wends in Europe and Australia, shipping lists to South Australia, maps showing the villages in Lusatia, and a list of Wendish family names in Australia. And a lot of good photos, some in colour.
